Privacy notice
This notice explains what the AI Portfolio Management Survey collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed. The survey is part of the Blueshift Initiative, a research program convened by OPM Experts LLC with a founding cohort of participating organizations.
Who is responsible
OPM Experts LLC is responsible for the survey and for the data it collects. You can write to us by replying to any results email. The survey is published at https://opmexperts.com/survey.
What is collected
- Your name and your work email, which you enter on the first screen.
- The name of your organization, if you choose to give it.
- Your answers to the survey questions, including any free text you write.
- The time each screen was shown and the time it was answered. These timestamps are used to check the quality of responses and to understand how long the survey takes.
- A hashed form of your network address and a coarse signature of your browser. Neither can be turned back into the original. They are used only to detect duplicate responses and automated submissions.
- Whether, and when, a results email was first opened. Each results email contains a small image that tells us when it was opened. Opening the email confirms that the address works.
- Your answers at the end of the survey about what you would like to receive, and your confirmed email address.
The first screen also uses a check that tells automated traffic apart from people. It is provided by Cloudflare and runs only on that screen.
Why it is collected
- To deliver your results. Your Acceleration Profile and every further reading are sent only to the email address you give and confirm.
- For research. Responses are analyzed in aggregate to study how organizations govern their project portfolios as the pace of their work changes.
- To detect duplicates and automated submissions, so that the research rests on one genuine response per person.
The lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by checking the box on the first screen. You may withdraw it at any time by asking for removal, as described below.
What we send you
We send you nothing you did not ask for. Everyone who completes Level 1 receives their results by email. Anything further, such as the link to the organizational self-assessment, the benchmark summary, a note when your advanced comparisons unlock, or a follow-up survey in about a year, is sent only if you asked for it at the end of the survey.
Colleagues you invite
If you enter colleagues' work email addresses in the invitation step, each address receives one email in your name, with no reminders. After that email is sent, the address itself is discarded and only a hashed form is kept, so that the same address is never invited twice. Each invitation carries a link that stops any further mail to that address. Invitations by email are not sent on behalf of respondents in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, where you can share your personal link instead.
How your data is reported
Responses are reported only in aggregate. No organization and no person is named in any output. Where an organization view is offered to several people from the same organization, it shows ranges only. The side-by-side comparison with a colleague appears only when the colleague has agreed to it, and it shares readings, never answers.
How long it is kept
Responses are kept for five years from the date they were given, so that change over time can be studied. After that they are deleted or reduced to data that cannot identify anyone.
How to ask for removal
Reply to any results email and ask for your response to be removed. We will delete your record and confirm by email. Findings already published in aggregate cannot be recalculated, but they never identify you.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Your data is stored on servers controlled by OPM Experts LLC. Access is limited to the research team, personal data is masked in day-to-day use, and every access to an unmasked record is logged. We do not sell data, and we do not share personal data with anyone outside the research team, other than the email provider that delivers the messages you asked for.
Cookies and storage in your browser
The survey sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Your browser keeps your place in the survey in its session storage, which is cleared when the tab is closed and never leaves your device.
